Motherhood Labels and Childhood Food Allergies
What do you call a mom who is always concerned about where her child is, who her child is with, what her child has touched, or what her child has eaten? A helicopter mom, tiger mom, possessive, extra-cautious, impatient, distrustful, unambitious…. I am extra-cautious because my child has extreme food allergies. Allergy symptoms range from rashes …. to life threatening consequences…. I welcome all the labels, judgements as far as I am successful in keeping my child safe. Lets be less judgmental and increase awareness about childhood food allergies.
