Mint – Cilantro Salad Dressing / Vinaigrette / Marinade / Dip

Try this low calorie salad dressing / vinaigrette to enhance the taste of your salad. This is an easy recipe and this dressing can be used as marinade as well as a dip too. This article has recipe and different ways of adding this low calorie and flavorful dressing to your diet.

Salad dressing doesn’t have to be high in calories to be tasty and to enhance the taste of the salad. I like to avoid store bought dressings because they are high in calorie contents, preservatives, and have lot of ingredients listed that I don’t understand. This homemade Mint- Cilantro salad dressing is low in calories, zesty, flavorful, and easy to make.

Marinade-

This salad dressing can also be used as marinade to marinate your tofu, paneer (Indian cottage cheese), vegetables, any kind of meat, or any kind of food that you want to grill or fry. These marinated nuggets are delicious and can be eaten as side dish, snacks, or can be added to your salad.

Dip / Chutney-

Besides, this dressing can also be used as dip / chutney to make sandwiches, wraps, and pizza. I have used this dressing to dip my snacks / appetizers like samosas, kachori, nuggets, spring rolls, avocado rolls, grilled/fried tofu, grilled/fried paneer (Indian cottage cheese), and much more.

Salad Dressing / Vinaigrette –

I have used this salad dressing on water melon-mixed green salad, papaya and mixed green salads, quinoa salad, tofu salad, paneer tikka salad, garden vegie salad, mixed vegetable salad, garbanzo beans salad, cobb salad, and high protein-sprouts salad. This salad dressing tastes well with all these salads.
